National Scholarships

Applications are open between October 1 and January 15.

RPNF Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a graduate psychiatric nurse, registered in Canada who is pursuing relevant studies at a masters or doctoral level. Minimum value $1000.00.

RPNF Undergraduate (4th Year) Scholarship

This scholarship (of minimum) $500.00 may be awarded to a 4th year student enrolled in a psychiatric nursing education program in Canada.  The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

RPNF Undergraduate (3rd Year) Scholarship

This scholarship (of minimum) $500.00 may be awarded to a 3rd year student enrolled in a psychiatric nursing education program in Canada.  The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. 

RPNF McCormick/Henry Scholarship

Darlene Henry’s whole psychiatric nursing career was dedicated to caring for seniors with mental health challenges/illnesses. She and her family are supporting this scholarship to assist RPNs to further their education in this area of practice.

The RPNF McCormick/Henry Scholarship will be awarded to a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Canada who is taking further studies in seniors’ mental health at the graduate level (masters or doctoral) or through an accredited certificate program.
